Britannica Announces Appointment of Mr. Michel David as President and CEO and Mr. Jeffrey Cocks as Chairman

Britannica Resources Corp. (“the Company”; BRR – TSX Venture) is pleased to announce that Mr. Michel David has been appointed president and chief executive officer effective immediately. Mr. Jeffrey Cocks has been appointed chairman.

Mr. David has over 35 years of experience in geology and geophysics, base metal and precious metal exploration and mining. He obtained a BSc in geology from McGill University in 1975 and has managed numerous projects in southern Africa, Brazil, Colombia, the Philippines, Korea and throughout North America with emphasis on the Abitibi gold belt in northwestern Quebec. Prior to this, Mr. David was president and chief executive officer of a mining exploration company based in Val-d’Or, Quebec. Under his guidance the company made significant gold discoveries and is presently exploring and developing both from underground.

At the same time, the Company announces that it is continuing with its underground program at its McKenzie Break joint venture (40% Britannica) with Northern Star Mining.

The decline has advanced to within 30 meters of the initial bulk sampling zone.

A program of surface definition drilling has been completed and results will be announced shortly.
